In May, we take time to reflect on the strength and sacrifice of those who serve in the military, as well as the families who support them. Two important observances this month, Children of Fallen Patriots Day (May 13) and Armed Forces Day (May 17), highlight why our mission at Work for Warriors MS matters.
Children of Fallen Patriots Day: A Legacy of Strength
Armed Forces Day: Recognizing Today’s Heroes
Every service member has a family behind them. On Children of Fallen Patriots Day, we honor the sons and daughters of those who served our country. These children carry a unique weight as they grow up with pride in their parents’ service while also carrying the loss that comes with it. Their resilience and courage represent a powerful legacy.
At Work for Warriors MS, we recognize that honoring fallen patriots also means supporting their families. We are committed to serving the entire military community, including children and spouses. If you are the child of a fallen service member, we want you to know that you are not alone. Your strength continues the story of service in a meaningful way.
Just a few days later, Armed Forces Day gives us a chance to thank those who currently serve in the United States military. This includes active duty members, the National Guard, and the Reserves. These individuals put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.
Many members of the Work for Warriors MS team are veterans or currently serving. We understand the dedication, challenges, and sacrifices involved in military life. That is why we work to connect service members and veterans with career opportunities that offer long-term support and growth.
