Tammy Clinton, is originally from Morton, MS. She currently serves as the Employment Coordinator for South Central Mississippi, covering 18 counties from Natchez, MS to Waynesboro, MS.
She served for 36 years in the Mississippi Army National Guard and worked for 25 years as a Federal Civilian Employee, servicing the Mississippi National Guard and four surrounding states during their training at Camp Shelby, MS.
Currently residing in Hattiesburg, MS, Tammy is based at the Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center. In her role as Employment Coordinator, she connects service members with businesses throughout the state.
Tammy finds her job fulfilling because it allows her to apply her military knowledge, talents, interests, and values to the workforce. She says it offers her a sense of pride to give back to the community and help her fellow guardsmen and their families seek meaningful employment.
